In a medium sized mixing bowl, merge eggs with milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, bread, sugar, and raisins. Pour into 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Put aluminum foil shaped into a ring to keep the dish off the bottom of the pot in bottom of slow cooker. Add 1/2 cup hot water and place baking dish on top of foil. Cover and cook on high for about 2 hours.
