What You Need

Frozen unsweetened berries 16 ounce Frozen unsweetened peaches 16 ounce Frozen unsweetened blackberries 16 ounce ¼ cup sugar 1 1/3 cups flour 3 Tablespoons brown sugar 1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 6 Tablespoons butter or margarine ½ cup heavy whipping cream 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon sugar

How to Make It

Add the frozen unsweetened berries, peaches, and blackberries into a 4 quart crockpot. Add the sugar and 1/3 cup of flour and mix well to combine.

Cover and cook for about 1 to 1 ½ hours on a high setting. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Using a food processor you will add the remaining flour, the brown sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Continue processing to blend well. Add the butter or margarine and continue processing until the mixture reaches a crumbly texture or consistency.

Add the heavy whipping cream and vanilla flavoring. Process until the mixture holds together well and then forms a soft ball of dough.

Spoon small amounts of the dough mixture evenly over the top of the assorted fruits in the crockpot, and then Dust the top of this dough mixture by lightly covering it with the cinnamon sugar spices.

Cover with lid and allow the dessert to cook for about 1 ½ hours on a high heat setting or until the dough is completely cooked. After cooking turn off the heat and allow the dessert to cool for about 30 minutes before serving to family, friends, or dinner guests. You can serve this dessert with ice cream or whipped topping.
