What You Need

2 packages softened cream cheese 16 slices bacon 4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup half-and-half 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon minced onion 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

How to Make It

Place cream cheese out onto the counter about 20 minutes before preparation time to soften it to room temperature. After softening, cut the cream cheese into 1 inch cubes. Set aside until needed.

Fry the slices of bacon and then drain the oil from them by placing them on a clean dry paper towel. Dice bacon into small pieces and then set aside until needed.

Add the softened cream cheese cubes, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, half-and-half, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, salt, dry mustard and hot sauce into the crockpot.

Place temperature on low and cover with the lid. Stir occasionally for about an hour until the cheese melts.

Keep crockpot on a low setting to serve the bacon cheese dip. Serve dip with slices or cubes of bread, chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
